'The Mad Dalton' is the musical moniker of Belfast musician Peter GW Sumadh. In addition to being a committed creative in his adopted home, he is also a community activist and volunteer at the food co-operative which he helped form. Citing influences such as the poet Rimbaud, The Sadies, Sparklehorse, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits and absinthe, Sumadh draws from a background of "carefully-crafted pathos and soul" with songs and live shows that continue to transfix whether playing solo or accompanied by members of his Dalton Gang band occupying a unique place in Belfast's vibrant music scene. He plays guitar, sings and has recently taken up harmonium. “Uplifting and lion-hearted in equal measure" BBC 'Across The Line' “A great and very significant song for the world we live in today. Great production. A timely tune indeed." Ralph McLean BBC Radio Ulster '“….an inspired full-band effort, evoking everything from early Pixies to mid-era Eels…” The Thin Air 'Antioxidant' is his second EP and follows the release of 2018's 'Open Season' LP, 2015's 'The Little Belfry EP' & many video singles in between.
