Bio
Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, film-maker and social activist – Tim Arnold is a maverick artist whose work stretches the boundaries of the imagination and defies genre and category. In recognition of Tim’s constant change of musical direction, Iggy Pop compared Tim to David Bowie during their collaboration on the film 'Blood Orange'. Tim is widely recognised as the first songwriter to write and release a concept album about London’s Soho district, 2015’s The Soho Hobo (BBC London Album of The Year). The project led him to create ‘Save Soho’ – a coalition of performers he began with Stephen Fry and Benedict Cumberbatch, that campaign for Soho’s historic role as a national platform for the performing arts. His new multimedia project SUPER CONNECTED is a concept album, live band and feature length movie inspired by the humanity Vs. technology debate.
