    Jambalaya 37 is a band of organic grooves, acid jazz and dance music, coming from Turin, Italy. They are a four piece band or a quartet, with trombone played by Gabriele Biei, keys by Gilberto Bonetto, bass and vocals by Dario Balmas and drums by Alessandro Raise. In December 2017 Jambalaya 37 released their latest EP "Cooking Groove" of five original songs, described as innovative, imaginary and inspiring organic grooves made with soul, pop and jazz as the main ingredients. Jambalaya 37 was born a little over ten years ago. The band members come from different genres and artistic backgrounds, bringing in multiple ingredients and spices to this delicious soup we know as Jambalaya 37. Since the very beginning the band has attracted attention of music lovers and professionals alike. Highlights of their musical journey include a live performance with a famous Italian trumpet player Fabrizio Bosso in Sanremo Festival in 2011. Jambalaya 37 has also supported many international and Italian artists and bands, including Incognito, Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Orchestra, and New York Ska Jazz Ensemble. Examples of Italian artists are Bollani and Rava Duo, Roy Paci, and Almamegretta. Next up for Jambalaya 37 is to release more new music in 2018, as well as keep busy playing in live shows in Italy and neighbouring countries. The band is looking at opportunities to be discovered by new fans all over the world, and to play their great music for the fans to love and enjoy.
