Malaisant - French 1. One who is effected by Malaise - A general feeling of discomfort, illness, or uneasiness whose exact cause is difficult to identify. This album is very personal and contains a lot of thoughts and emotions I wanted to get out. A couple of months ago, I found out that I have a chronic, debilitating illness. This has made it very tough to work at all. This album is a culmination of all my thoughts, fears, and experiences. The music on this album is incredibly spacious, with a lot of atmosphere and emotion put into it. A huge inspiration for the feel of this album is Bath's "Obsidian" album. I feel that this is probably my most unique and immersive sound. Many early listeners said I created an "Ethereal and psychedelic blend of Experimental, R&B, and Trip Hop", of which I'm very proud of.
