Sounds For Departure is an album about being scared of change. I've explored this topic before but in a different context on Twilight City. Where that album is a third person look on what happens when a society denies necessary change, Sounds For Departure is a first person look at a sudden, yet unavoidable change in life. Each song delves into a different anxiety of mine, while maintaining a clear "concept", which is with my upcoming move. This is probably my most layered and complex album not only in terms of the production on it, but in the different meanings as well.
