Twilight plays tricks on the eyes and ears, as the light slowly fades and our senses adjust. Inspired by this time when sounds briefly feel unfamiliar without a clear visual context, Vogt created two different mixes from an improvised piece. The original track called "Heartsease" was simply vocals and layers of looped guitar. As it was improvised, she had no plan or intention other than to immerse myself in the process and see what she could create. Vogt later worked on a remix of the original track by extracting and isolating guitar parts and weaving vocals throughout. A second mix was then made that became a vocal mix. Time stands still in this version. The final track "The Fading Light in Everyone" was added after the release came out, as Vogt found another piece created during this session and decided to give it a home with this collection.
