Dear Sun is a track where I express my bittersweet relationship with the sun and the morning or daytime generally. Suffering from insomnia, I would (and sometimes still do) sleep during the day and would just dread seeing the sun. Until one of my dear friends showed me that it is not impossible to change myself, even after years of staying awake all night and dreading the day. This song is my way of addressing the sun and kind of resolving my dislike, learning to appreciate and love the sun’s presence in my life.
