“Please Fall In Love With Me” was written by the singer-songwriter and guitarist John Martyn (1948–2009). The original version appears on his album “Glorious Fool,” which was released in September 1981. “Please Fall In Love With Me” was also released as a single that same month. This recording is a collaboration between Heligoland and the Italian duo She Owl. This single is Heligoland’s first ever collaborative release and also the first cover we have ever released. The basic tracks were recorded at our home studios in Paris and Berlin before being mixed by Robin Guthrie at his studio in the west of France.
