cowman - -crunch- ep (out 26 July 2022 via digital places…) First new release in 10 years! These were recorded for an aborted album - one is a Sonic Youth rip-off, two is an MBV parody. Three is a drone. Seems a good time to let them out as a full LP of all new stuff is coming in the autumn/fall. "cowman" is musician and academic Ben J. Heal, who splits his time between London and Taiwan. A member of lazy art-rock stalwarts "birdbath" since 1994, Ben's cowman persona has plumbed the depths of puerile lo-fi punk aesthetics since 2005 with several albums on Bristol based Ingue Records. The album "Slaughter" is coming out on LP and tape via COJU Recordings and Cruel Nature Recordings in September, with digital/cdr on Tenzenmen.
