I always wanted to do a very ambient heavy album even when I was still playing with the last band I was with. I broke off with them while still stuck with a job I hated and playing music that doesn't resonate with me. The subnautic, mellow and at times chaotic feeling of the album should reflect a certain proximity to water in ist many forms. Like a desire that submerges somewhere from the deep, making its way to the surface.
