surrendergender is about the feeling that, as public perception of trans women gets worse, no one will ever accept or understand me as a woman. the feeling that, increasingly, people want me to die for even wanting to be. the feeling of giving up and just not wanting to be referred to or thought of at all. it is a pride flag in solid white. the feeling of fragile peace that comes with retreat. thank you for listening!<3
