Following closely on from Fragments, The Black Dog deliver a new EP of fresh tracks and remixes based on a new live show. “Because we were invited to play on a 3D sound system, we realised that it would be necessary to remix and rewrite a selection of our new tracks, just so they’d work with the sound system properly. We’ve worked on these systems before and it can be difficult to do a good job. It’s all too easy to wear the listener out with gimmicks, but we’re always up for new ideas and a challenge. This, of course, led from one thing to another and after a couple of weeks, we’d reworked over 50 minutes of music. Here we present a small selection of those tracks, along with several new ones, for your pleasure.”
